Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items.
- Maintain accurate logs and records in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling and safety regulations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
