Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes within Seattle metro and Puget Sound region
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery timing
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with HOS regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and basic GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of Washington state traffic laws and Seattle metro area
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- DOT medical certification card
