Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Complete all necessary daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Manage cargo documentation and delivery paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if required.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform pre-trip inspections.
