Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over various distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding cargo handling and customer service standards.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regionally within the United States.
