Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) logs.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule, adhering to strict time windows.
- Interact professionally with customers, receivers, and warehouse personnel.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 30 days.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
