Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) and trailers to deliver cargo on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (EOBR) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Night shift availability (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
