Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles delivering goods throughout Florida and the Southeast
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and local traffic laws
- Represent Swift with professional conduct at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Florida highway system and delivery protocols
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Flexibility for overnight regional routes (2-4 days)
