Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Plan efficient routes and maintain strict delivery schedules across the Mid-South
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team using electronic logging systems
- Secure cargo and handle loading/unloading procedures with precision
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and incident-free performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional runs and weekend shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
