Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes (500-800 miles/day)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery timelines
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize telematics systems for performance optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and hazmat handling (certification a plus)
- Strong navigation skills across California and Southwest states
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
