Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) within Los Angeles County and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA metro routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and MVR verification
