Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and communicate any delays or issues immediately.
- Uphold a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on truck type).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
