Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across Colorado and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Accurately document trip reports, logs, and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all licensing requirements
- Represent Mountain State Logistics professionally at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of mountain driving techniques and weather preparedness
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
