Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods across designated NYC routes using company vehicles
- Perform efficient loading/unloading of merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Proficient with delivery tracking technology (GPS, tablets)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
