Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within DC, MD, and VA
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of freight
- Participate in mandatory safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years preferred)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 25 years of age with 1+ year tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DC metropolitan area roadways
- Basic computer skills for ELD systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
