Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communication with dispatch
- Represent Swift professionally with customers at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience (OTR or regional)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic smartphone proficiency for electronic logging
- Flexible schedule including overnight stays
