Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight via dry van trailers across regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Optimize delivery routes using advanced GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain strict adherence to HOS regulations
- Represent Swift with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb trailer steps
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
