Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials across designated routes in Dallas County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize route efficiency to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills and commitment to punctuality
- Basic navigation proficiency using GPS systems and route planning tools
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
