Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on scheduled routes throughout Sacramento County
- Load/unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Adapt routes efficiently using real-time traffic and weather data
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in delivery or logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong time management skills and route optimization knowledge
- Proficient in using digital delivery tracking systems (e.g., Omnitracs, Samsara)
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Sacramento area roads and delivery zones
