Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products and materials on scheduled routes throughout Detroit metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize route efficiency to meet delivery timelines and fuel standards
- Safely load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area streets and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Basic math skills for inventory and delivery documentation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused communication skills
