Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on assigned routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload merchandise efficiently using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during point-of-contact interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
- Adapt routes dynamically for traffic/weather conditions to maintain on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in multi-stop route delivery
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and route planning software
- Excellent time management skills with strict adherence to delivery schedules
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
