Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of freight and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Foster positive relationships with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service (HOS), and cargo securement procedures.
- Ability to operate various types of equipment (Dry Van, Flatbed, Reefer).
- Must possess a valid Medical Card.
