Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Efficiently plan and execute daily delivery routes using GPS technology
- Handle loading/unloading of goods with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with San Diego metropolitan area
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts (4:00 AM start)
- Basic math skills for delivery verification
