Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on assigned routes throughout the United States.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and proper securing.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage (DOT compliant).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
