Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) in Chicago metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Chicago traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability (including weekends)
- Basic tech literacy for digital logs
