Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology to maximize daily output
- Maintain accurate delivery records through handheld scanning devices
- Provide exceptional customer service during package handoffs
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to Amazon's safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and delivery scanning systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Availability for early morning shifts (4-6 AM start times)
