Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight between distribution centers and client locations in Oregon and Washington
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Represent Northwest Logistics Partners with professionalism at all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and regional routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Smartphone proficiency for communication and navigation
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to and from dispatch location
