Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and safety.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a clean safety record.
- Represent the company professionally at all times while on the road and at customer facilities.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical certification.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer skills for logging and documentation.
