Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for regional routes
- Execute efficient loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and route optimizations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time communication
- Uphold company safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metro area and regional routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
