Job Overview
As a CDL Driver for Prime Logistics, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods across the United States. We value safety, integrity, and professionalism above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage (HOS compliant).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and professional at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2-3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
