Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight safely and on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) and DOT Drug Screening.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with electronic logging devices.
