Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial trucks on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and dispatch centers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to maintain supply chain integrity.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with the required endorsements.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required; no DUI/DWI in past 7 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination (must be able to lift heavy loads).
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
