Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status and any issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including HAZMAT handling when applicable
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
