Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes throughout Georgia and North Carolina.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securement and handling.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Drug Screen.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and substance abuse screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts.
