Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for weekend deliveries in Sacramento Valley
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet weekend delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento metro routes and California highways
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM)
