Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated Pennsylvania routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance evaluations
Qualifications
- No CDL experience required - we provide paid training
- Valid Class A CDL license or commitment to obtain through our program
- Clean driving record (minimum 2-year history)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and inventory
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
