Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate student attendance and route documentation
- Enforce bus safety protocols and student conduct policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt routes for weather, traffic, and special events
- Complete defensive driving certification annually
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license (minimum 2 years clean record)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb bus steps repeatedly
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
