Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes between San Francisco and key West Coast distribution centers
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route optimization and delivery tracking
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (training provided if needed)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of FMCSA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (4-5 day trips)
- Willingness to complete paid training program
