Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for dedicated routes across Oahu and inter-island transport
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete accurate documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery scheduling and route optimization
- Ensure secure handling of specialized cargo (medical, retail, industrial)
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Knowledge of Hawaii geography and inter-island shipping requirements
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for early morning/overnight routes
- Experience with electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally
