Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections of bus equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and traffic laws
- Supervise student conduct during transit
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete daily maintenance reports
- Operate bus in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with passenger endorsement
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- New Jersey School Bus Driver certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
