Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within DC metro
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety compliance protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize route efficiency while meeting strict delivery timeframes
- Represent our brand through professional appearance and conduct
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of DC metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4-5 AM)
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) required
