Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently on various roadways.
- Transport freight to and from designated delivery locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle delivery paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
