Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated) safely and efficiently across Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and complete accurate delivery documentation
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and manual lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain clean driving record and report any vehicle issues immediately
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage delivery routes to meet tight deadlines and optimize fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Texas residency required
