Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper tie-down techniques and cargo securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, harassment, and compliance.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and reduce fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
