Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Maintain DOT compliance with daily inspections and log documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while adapting to traffic conditions
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and report vehicle issues
- Represent our company with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade County road networks
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety regulations and detail orientation
