Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready and compliant.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and delivery documentation in a timely fashion.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
