Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional deliveries across Missouri and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Kansas City metro routes and Missouri highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and communication skills
- hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
