Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and clients
- Handle specialized freight including hazardous materials (HAZMAT endorsement a plus)
- Support warehouse operations when needed for loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington state traffic laws
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight routes
