Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (minimum 2 years experience)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Boston metro area navigation
- Experience with refrigerated freight preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
