Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery processes
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Class A CDL (training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening as per FMCSA regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation systems
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- No prior commercial driving experience required
