Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated delivery locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites, including verifying signatures and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (e.g., Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule.
